A Blobette is revealed in The Trouble with Wendys. According to Wendy Blob "whatever my blobette sees, I see." Wendy creates blobettes by splitting off pieces of herself.
Wendy first does this to monitor Dr. Gillman after Mavis saves her, and creates several others as she keeps being saved.
Gillman says if a blob splits too much for too long their brains turn to mush.
