The Cyclops monster is a background character in the Hotel Transylvania film franchise. There are many of his species appearing in different scenes but they wear a pair of shorts.
Appearance[]
He is a red monster with a singular yellow eye and normally wears a pair of black speedos. In Hotel Transylvania 3, there is also a similar monster with blue skin.
Roles in the films[]
In Hotel Transylvania, the Cyclops monster is in the crowd when Dracula was showing the humans with the projector and cheering for Johnny's scooter. At the hotel's public pool, he does water aerobics and has a chicken fight with Mavis and Johnny. Also, he can be seen at the dance party.
In Hotel Transylvania 2, the Cyclops monster was one of the guests at Johnny and Mavis' wedding. He goes to the toilet, but can't open as it was locked by Mavis who was baby-proofing anything dangerous around the hotel. So desperately, he uses his strength to remove the toilet, pull down his speedo and bent down with relief, but before he could poop, a gallon of water burst out the broken pipe, shooting him out. He was at the werewolf pups' birthday party clapping for his kid dancing to the musicians. The Cyclops monster can also be seen at Dennis' birthday party.
In Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, the Cyclops was on the weeding, waiting for the bride Lucy. And when suddenly Dennis and Winnie appears on the weeding riding Tinkles, he gets the dog's drool on him. The Cyclops and his kid were one of the monsters that went on the cruise vacation along with the rest of the monsters. On Gremlin Air, after a gremlin flight attendant informed the passengers to "unbuckle" their seatbelts before experiencing heavy turbulence, the Cyclops unbuckled his seatbelt and the turbulence caused the Cyclops to fly out the roof of the plane and smacks into the plane's tail. He spends the entire trip there. While boarding the Legacy, the Cyclops is shuffle boarding. He went with others to dive and swim in the sea. While he helps his kid remove the diving tank, Blooby removes the fishes from his body and the Cyclops confused, doesn't know how the fishes got on the cruise. He have a dinner on the beach. He also went to Atlantis to gamble. At the climax, he tries to escape from the Kraken, who's attacking everyone due to Abraham's song but the exit gets blocked by the monster, and later he helps defeat Abraham's song by dancing to Johnny's song.
In Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, the Cyclops can be seen briefly in a conga line of monsters during the hotel's 125th anniversary party.
