"Doppelfanger" is the tenth episode of the first season of Hotel Transylvania: The Series.
Synopsis[]
Mavis‘ teen crush, Jett Black, visits the hotel.
Plot[]
In the episode "Doppelfanger," the plot likely centers around Mavis and a case of mistaken identity. Mavis, perhaps while interacting with herself through an ancient cursed vampire mirror, she accidentally creates another version of herself. This doppelganger could be an exact copy or a distorted version of Mavis, depending on the episode's tone. Mavis' doppelganger wreaks havoc at the hotel, causing confusion and maybe even scaring some guests. It might impersonate Mavis and get into mischief, or its actions could be misinterpreted as Mavis' doing. Mavis, realizing her mistake, has to find a way to fix it. This could involve dispelling the doppelganger with magic, finding a way to get it back into the mirror, or maybe even using the doppelganger for some comedic purpose like creating a hilarious distraction. Mavis doesn't appreciate having a doppelganger running around, especially if it's causing trouble. This episode introduces a comedic element where the characters have to differentiate between the real Mavis and the doppelganger. Through some combination of wit and magic, Mavis solves the problem and gets rid of the doppelganger. Mavis learns a valuable lesson about controlling magic or the importance of communication.
