The cats (also called were-pup eaters and enormous cat-like things) are the gigantic feline antagonists of the comic My Little Monster-Sitter.
Like cerberus they are a giant 3-headed animal, but cats instead of dogs. They make Wendy their Queen and offer to make the others royalty too.
