Great Eggspectations is the eleventh episode of the first season of Hotel Transylvania: The Series. The book adaptation is called Mavis Makes a Friend.
Synopsis[]
Mavis tries to prove she can care for a living creature by rescuing a "bad egg".
Plot[]
In the episode "Great Eggspectations," Mavis is on a mission to prove her responsibility, and the hotel gets a dose of unexpected chaos. Mavis desperately wants to prove she can care for a living creature. She finds a seemingly abandoned egg and takes it upon herself to nurture it. Mavis discovers that this could be an egg left behind by a guest or even a stray monster egg. The egg throws a wrench into the hotel's usual routine. Mavis might need to learn about caring for an egg, potentially with some comedic mishaps. The other characters, might be skeptical of Mavis' ability to handle the responsibility. As Mavis diligently cares for the egg, it finally hatches! However, there's a surprise twist, the hatched creature might not be what anyone expected, perhaps a baby monster of a different species or even a human baby accidentally left behind.
