"Hoop Screams" is the fourth episode of the first season of Hotel Transylvania: The Series.
Synopsis[]
Mavis gives Hank the gift of basketball.
Plot[]
There's a big basketball game happening, and the monsters at Hotel Transylvania are hyped for it. The game could be between the monster staff and the guests, or maybe even different monster families competing. Expect the game to be anything but ordinary. Imagine characters with superhuman abilities using their powers on the court. Mavis zipping past with vampire speed, Hank using his arms for epic dunks, or maybe even a zombie horde overwhelming the opponent with sheer numbers. Mavis might be torn between wanting the monsters to win and keeping things from getting too out of control with their supernatural abilities. Through the chaos, the episode might emphasize the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, even for monsters with vastly different abilities.

- Wendy briefly mentions her uncle Archie in a flashback to when she mentions how Mavis is really good at giving bad gifts
- in July 2011 (both the night of Saturday 10th and morning of Sunday 11th) Teletoon broadcast this directly after it's debut of Teen Titans GO! see Space Jam due to the similar theme. It filled out the last 15 minutes of the two-hour block since the film only lapsed 1h45m.
